Let’s get on with the making, shall we:

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Firstly, wash the carrots and onion.
  2. Dice them nicely once you have washed them.
  3. Chop the parsley finely.
  4. In a pan, over medium heat, pour some olive oil.
  5. Add the diced carrots and sauté for 4 minutes.
  6. Next, add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté for 4 more minutes.
  7. It's time to add the cooked garbanzo beans and continue to cook for 2 more minutes.
  8. Add the guajillo chile salsa and black pepper, and cook for 2 more minutes until the salsa has reduced and has coated the garbanzo beans completely.
  9. Add salt accordingly.
  10. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.

This recipe is mostly on the spicier side of the dishes and that is what makes the whole idea of Mexican-style garbanzo beans a good idea for a good main dish. You can team it up with some freshly-cooked rice or even with some tasty parathas.
