One of the easiest ways to make basmati rice into a dish on its own is to fry it. With spices, of course.
Add your favorite spices to medium heated 2 tbsp. oil in a pan. We would recommend a tsp. of ground turmeric, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, a pinch of cinnamon powder and some pepper. Add 2-3 chopped onions and saute for a minute or two. Then, add your favorite vegetables ranging from green peas to tomatoes. After sauteing for a couple of minutes, add the boiled basmati rice and fry for 5-6 minutes.
