A juicy burger is anyone's go-to option when nothing comes to mind when trying to curb those hunger pangs. A good burger is all about that juicy from inside and crispy from outside game of making the patty. Once you get the patty right, there is nothing much left while preparing a burger. So, this recipe of ours is all about that vegan patty which would fit right into those buns and give you a juicy feel in every bite.
Ingredient for making a good juicy burger:
400grm black beans, rinsed and drained ¼ cup white royal quinoa ½ cup water ½ cup bread crumbs ¼ cup minced yellow bell pepper 2 tablespoons minced onion 1 large clove garlic, minced 1 ½ teaspoons gourmet cumin seed ground ½ teaspoon himalayan pink rock salt - fine grind 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce 3 tablespoons olive oil Garlic-lemon mayonnaise Fresh raw spinach Sliced tomato Caramelized onions
Let’s get on with the cooking:
Bring the quinoa and water to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the quinoa is tender and the water has been absorbed, about 15 to 20 minutes. Roughly mash the black beans with a fork leaving some whole black beans in a paste-like mixture. Mix the quinoa, bread crumbs, bell pepper, onion, garlic, cumin, salt, and hot pepper sauce into the black beans using your hands. Form the black bean mixture into 5 patties. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Cook the patties in the hot oil until heated through, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Serve it on a whole-wheat bun with garlic-lemon mayonnaise, fresh raw spinach, sliced tomato, and caramelized onions!
Place the burger along with some tasty fries and your munchies are sorted while looking for something to munch on. The best part is that the patty is made out of pure vegan ingredients and could be a great choice for a juicy burger.
